Going to be fishing the quality inn pier here in rockport this evening/night. Anybody have any. Advise pointers on catching some fish here

Put a line in the water, take pictures of anything someone else catches, lie.... say you caught it. No-one here wil know the difference and everyone will be jealous  heh.. no advice, just good luck!:) Russ

If you freeline a shrimp and it gets to the bottom =no fish! Move

Fished it last summer. Water is shallow there. Specks show up well after dark in the lights. Caught on live shrimp spoons and sassy shad.keeper were few and far between most fish 12 inches long but can catch alot. The dolphins will show up and run the fish out but they come back within 30 min.

Also dont over look the pier at the blue wave beach in rockport. I have caught reds specks and a monstrous flounder of it with live shrimp.

Also be careful there were some shady characters around that place but the remodel from the hurricane was noce.
