OK, I'm going to try and translate this...

You went to an Academy in Garland...they didn't have the terminal tackle you were searching for. Then you went to a store known for having an amazing selection of tackle...aka Walmart and struck out. So lastly you decided to go to a store with BASS in the name as a last ditch effort.

Did I sum this up correctly???

Sorry, with so many choices out there and being close to a few Bass Pros, I don't know this feeling of not being able to find what I need.

I stopped at Academy in Denton and it was like a ghost town in the tackle section. Maybe now is a good time to list all my extra tackle for sale, that I will never use in 10 lifetimes.

You wouldn't have found a whole lot of it in the Round Rock location of BP yesterday. Almost all of their tungsten was empty along with LOTS of other empty pegs. Their reel "holder" section that sits on the mini rods for you to try out was basically empty. So SOMEBODY is having a nice Corona Christmas season!

If you're going to Athens, stop at Tommy's Tackle Box in Eustace. It's on the left (north) side of 175 between the two traffic lights as you're heading toward Athens

I'm out on as much Chinese stuff as I can get away from. Jigs I bought yesterday (War Eagle) were manufactured in Guatemala. Still not made in USA, but it ain't stinkin China. Gonna be hard to wean myself off of Chinese stuff cause they make EVERYTHING! But I'm dang sure gonna try!
