Interesting take on that, Ken. I pretty much have fished Fork exclusively since 1990. 3 fish over 11 pounds and a few over 10 pounds and on down. Two of the bass over 11 pounds came off the same ridge and I was tied up to a tree (before the trees rotted off at the surface). I'd sit and cast for an hour or two waiting for the fish to come through or to begin to feed. Actually, I was tied off on a tree when I've caught most of my big fish. When the word gets out and everyone is running and gunning points 20 - 25 feet deep. I'm doing the same thing and not seeing any fish on them. Im thinking maybe all the outboards idling over these points are spooking the bass and they are not holding there any longer. Never thought it would be the graphs that would spook a bass.
Waiting to the the new tracking results on Toledo Bend and Fork.
Regards, Bart Armstrong

Great video, only question I have is, how long do you think it takes for a bass to return to a spot after you go in on a spot with transducers pinging, trolling motor on, stop and turn them all off ? Do you think it makes any difference if it's night time ?
Thanks for the great info..hope to find the book and read it.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

one of the bass fishing shows on tv had tournament that they would track bass ( thinking 5 ) and then they would show were they headed when released. Pretty interesting.

This is why I donโt like spot lock for big bass stuff. Very interesting and definitely good info. I have seen it multiple times with spawning fish. Also, even fishing alone or silently seems to help.

Ken is there a depth that the transducer does not bother the bigger fish? I heard you say 20ft but is it 20ft. 25ft or 30ft that they don't get spooked?
