hey everyone I've never really posted on this part of the fishing forum but I am in a bit of a jam and I was wondering if anyone could maybe give me some advice or have seen anything like this on there solix units. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I would hate to think that I have a very expensive paperweight LOL

I hook up the unit and this screen is all I get mad

What size power wire are you using, where is the power leads connected to such as fuse panel, wiring harness, direct to battery or dedicated fuse panel? What type and how old are the batteries?

Dou you have any map cards in the unit if so try powering it up without them

Hey 44 diesel thanks for the response, right now I am using the power wire straight off of the Humminbird power cable and I am connecting them to a small battery I have in the man cave I believe it's an 18 gauge wire I am thinking a bigger battery to power this unit but I had already hooked the unit up to several big batteries and still get the same screen .....there is no map card in the unit.

Unfortunately your next move would be to call Humminbird C/S and probably have to send it in

Man crazy thing!!!!...I went and bought 10 gauge wire and hooked it up again but still did the same this..So while it was still showing white and black screen I picked it up and bumped the bottom of the unit and it came on and started working just fine and has been running fine now hammer
