Summer arrived on RC this past week and the easier Limits on White Bass turned into a little tougher task on Friday & Saturday. Still, if you hung in there you could go home with a full box of fish or limits of quality Whites! Seems that every year around this time as we transition from a Slab bite to some Top Water action, it gets a little tough. Throw in a Slick Lake, Bluebird Sky and Full Moon and you really have to be patient and work for them on certain days. While we are strictly "Artificial Lure" Fishermen, I'm hearing the same thing is happening with the "Live Bait" Hybrid bite as it's good one day and almost non-existent the next. Check out the 309 Flats in the 25'-30' FOW for the Hybrid Stripers and move shallower to find the Whites as they will be on Points and Humps in 10'-20' FOW. Start looking for the early AM Top Water action on the South Shoreline, Dam Area and 309 Flats. If you catch a nice breezy and cloud cover day, the action can be really good! (Forget about it on the Weekends as there's just too much boat traffic) Lastly, avoid the alcohol and take plenty of water as it's brutal on the 90 degree days with no breeze. thumb Adam and I are booking July with a few days open and plenty of Weekdays and even a few Saturdays still available in August. Check out our "PACKAGE SPECIAL" AT www.gonefishin.biz and have a great day! Pics are from the last couple of weeks:
