Nothing in mind says...<police in riot gear in strong lines marching down the street> "I should approach those guys."
Stupid prize.
Also, I think the dude after that that approached the line with a sign was taken to the ground.

I thought it was SJB trying to figure out what city he was in. Nah, Joe is never more than an arm's length from a handler that can grab him away from a microphone before he makes too many inane comments.

Martin Gugino, the man who was pushed to the ground, was in "serious but stable condition. He is alert and oriented," attorney Kelly V. Zarcone said in an emailed statement.
Gugino is "a longtime peaceful protester, human rights advocate, and overall fan of the US Constitution," Zarcone said. He requests privacy and that future protests remain peaceful.

They were trying to clear the streets. All could have been avoided if the protester had just responded positively to the request and done what was requested Stand your ground don't apply here. You need your trusty AR-15 to talk the talk and walk the walk. Treat an unarmed senior citizen like Colin Kaepernick and kick 'em to the curb. Bully for you.

I don't think it matters who was in the technically in the wrong. The Buffalo police just generated a whole boatload of really bad publicity to protect themselves from an old unarmed man. At what point does the police force stop and think - hey, how is this going to look on the news tonight? Is this old man really a credible threat? There are 12 of us cops and we have guns, do I really need to give him a concussion?

Pretty sure it was a phone as well. He should not have approached the riot officers and should have left when told to do so. If he had done these things, there would have been no conflict. Pretty simple Yes sir. Go at an officer and you’re LUCKY if you only get pushed back a little.

I don’t believe for a minute that the officers set out to “give him a concussion”. The push wasn’t all that hard but when you factor in the age of the man and the fact that he lost his balance and stumbled backwards and fell, then the end result was he got hurt.

This is all one bad joke at this point. Give the power back to the people and let them protect their own property without fear of BS charges. Every store should have its own armed security right now with orders to shoot any would be looters in the store. This would be over in one night, but instead we have career politicians pulling the strings of a bunch of spineless yes men. WHAT A FIASCO

Okay, you go join the force and remember those 60 or so Police Officers that were shot and killed in 2016 during the BLM movement then, and see how you react to a perceivable threat. Age, color, religion, numbers on the bad side vs. the good side doesn't matter when all you are trying to do is get to go back home at night and a threat arises.

Your right, I should have shoved him down and broke his head open. At least my guy went home unscathed.
