Whatever happened to Bryan Velviks place? Is just sitting there falling apart or somebody buy it? Use to be another one Fisherman lodge or cove. Had bait shop and a small grill to eat great breakfast tacos. Been awhile since I’ve been to Amistad.

Amistad Lake Resort is sold however at this time they are fixing rooms and will be leasing them as condo's. Yes they will need a lot of work. No restaurant. Fisherman's Headquarters closed. The other is gone knocked down. Nothing open at the lake area except privately owned or rental trailers/bunk houses.

Sleeping Lady RV Park has some cool little trailers. I had plans to stay there 2 weeks ago, but for some reason they are cancelling all the tournaments.

I prefer to stay at Rough Canyon on the Devil's River. Check Amistad Lake Rentals, lots of great choices for condos and well maintained trailers with decks right by the boat launch.

Call Ronnie (432)967-2745. He has more than a few trailers in good locations depending on where you want to fish. I have used him more than a few times. Great guy to deal with. All the trailers I have used there were set up for fishermen. I typically fish off of Diablo South, he sets me up in close proximity, I move out from there.
