First trip there in over a year. Was on the water 5 hours and cleaned 60. Nothing huge just good eaters. Fish fry tomorrow. With the tourney coming up won’t say much else but that said I got a lot of work to do before then if I get time to go there!

I can do a weekday trip next week still my earliest weekend date is 27-28th of June. Fork. Palestine. Tawakoni. Summer is great fishing. Don’t let it pass you by!!

Finished up today! Had 1st place and big fish. First good fish we put in the boat was the 1.82. Gotta love it when a plan comes together!! Caught fish all over the lake but brush and timber was what we focused on and it paid off. Most to timber fish were 12-16’ down and the brushpile fish were on the bottom. We sank about 20 piles there 2 years ago and there wasn’t much left of any of them anymore so what was there was sitting on the bottom with the fish. Limits Tackle 1/8oz heads with hand tied Shad and Purple and Chart jigs we’re best for us. Never bought any minnows but I’m sure they would have worked fine too. I sure love summertime fishing. If you want to get in on the action give me a holler!!
