The plan was to sight cast, but the morning clouds just wouldn’t burn off enough. So we trolled the banks blind casting a new bait called the crazy croaker, and DSL candy apple. The redfish crushed this bait.

Around lunch time the clouds burned off and with the fish so high up in the grass, the tower wasn’t needed. This husband/wife team talked a lot of trash, but I believe the Mrs.’ gets the braggin’ rights until next time.

If anybody wants to experience a fun way to catch redfish, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday look good for sight casting. Give us a shout!
