I am considering getting navionics. How many of you have it and use it on a regular basis? Which option would you recommend? Thanks.

I use lakemaster in my birds but have the navionics app on my tablet. Some lakes lakemaster is more accurate, some navionics is.
For $15 or whatever I pay a year the app is well worth it. I study it a lot at home with older satellite images from when lakes were low.
I wouldn’t buy the chips, but then again if I had lowrance electronics, I probably would.

had the platinum in one of my birds, lakemaster in the other. liked both of them equally, each had its benefits, used navionics for console/navigation and graphing, lakemaster on bow.
go with the platinum, the extras are worth it imo

I use mine all the time. One, I highlight the shallow areas so that anything less than 10' deep is shaded in blue. Two the Tennessee River has lots of ledges, bends, points, deep holes, etc that I would not be aware of if I didn't have the lake map.
He is truly a sick individual.

I have both LakeMaster and Navionics. I have been using Navionics for 15 years. Love it, wouldn't hit the water without a map card in it.

Very useful tool especially for fishing new waters.
To whom much is given, much is required.

I have 2 Humminbird Helixes (Helices?), bow and console, and the console unit has Navionics. The two are networked, but the networking doesn't share maps. So the front Helix can take either chip. I guess I should get on Youtube and view some Lakemaster vids and see if I like the resolution of that map. EDIT: Just watched an excellent video by good ol' Doug Vahrenberg. Good info.

I have Navionics on my Lowrance HDS, and it's deadly accurate to me. I believe because they're always collecting data from current users, and updating, it's very accurate. I'm very happy with it. Tim
