EM Fishing has slowed down measurably , Bporte has as well .
The two bodies of water are connected via trinity river . Anyone have a reasonable answer ??
Yellow foam from county park south to Mid-lake on Thursday . Unable to find biting fish other than drum , a few bb and flat head cat !

Normal for EM in June. Slab bite gets tuff to non existence mid may. Topwater starts July 1st south of island early bigger fish under schools. Excellent slab bite starts April 1st preceded by decent dead sticking starting mid February. Think shallow during summer like 15' or so on structure. Fish are moving a lot seeking dissolved oxygen more than feeding and tuff to stay on em now thru summer months. Dunno about foam. Best hybrid action on BP in May. Always exceptions in fishing. Hope this helps. Tight lines.

David

I know on BP the last couple summers haven’t been good for me using slabs. Catching a ton of drum. Zebra mussels exploding the drum population I think. Unreal how many you can catch. Hybrid been moving around non stop. Should be setting up more concentrated but I haven’t tried this year yet.
