What lake would you fish that is 1 hour from Grapevine right now with this weekends conditions? Somewhat new to this area and looking for some weekend fun, Thanks in advance!

I would say RayBob, up in the sticks. Any lake within an hour of DFW that is open water will have wakeboard boats all over the place on the weekends.

RayBob this weekend is going to be a madhouse...Bass Champs is gearing up for Saturday. 200+ boats are expected. Then add to that the pleasure boaters to churn up the main lake.

Amon Carter. The south section if you don’t mind potentially scratching up your boat a bit—too stumpy for jet skies and wake boats
