Anyone with a vexus avx1980 with the 150 pro xs, what kind of speeds are you seeing? without a jackplate.

Wait...does that say Suzuki 140? I thought they only put Yammi or Merc's on them.

Will Vexus even still be around this time next year?

Unless everyone there works on commission, they have some huge salaries to pay. It’s obvious that their fiberglass line is a flop, so that can’t keep them afloat. Some have said that some of the Vexus guys left (never heard who) and started Avid boats, so maybe that eased their payroll.

I am biased because I now own one, I really think it is too early to call vexus a flop.. now yes I don't see their fiberglass line making it to long. My opinion they need to focus on their avx line of boats and perfect that and they will make it! but opinions are like a** holes everyone has one! hahah

Went to Ron Hoover in Katy to pick up some maintenance supplies and they have one of the fiberglass boats on the showroom floor. They let me climb up inside of it and man, it's impressively built and very nice! Tons of storage and it's layed out nicely. But this thing carried a $100K price tag..... WOW!

If I were to ever convert over to an aluminum boat then the Vexus would be on top of my list. I really like that 2080 with the 200hp hanging off the back.

Uh because the economy, because their boats are ugly and not selling, this was not the time to enter the market as a new luxury item maker. Sure their aluminum boats are nice but way overpriced IMO. I had not heard about Avid boats, definitely have that Vexus tin boat look.

I really don't agree with any of your above statements, but I am not on here to argue.

We all have our opinion.

Unfortunate timing for them but it is what it is, I see other new companies like Falcon and even Caymus having a tough time staying afloat. Although Caymus seem to be selling well, or at least they were before this hit, and may have better backing with Earl Bentz.

You need to ask this question to Vexus and qualify it with your opinion.

My buddy has a 1980 with the 150 4 stroke Merc (not the Pro XS) and he gets 52 or so with dual
poles and 3 graphs.
