How much do y’all trim off your hollow body frogs’ legs? Is it different on a popping frog compared to a walking frog? I’ve always left em about 2”. Thoughts?

I cut one to the length of the body, then the other about a 1/4” shorter. Helps with the side to side walking.

I leave them how they are straight out of the package.

I usually just trim about 1/2" off of one side to help with the walking action.

Depending on the frog maker. Some of the come with very long legs, while spro on the other hand doesn't need much trimming, if any.

i cut at angles

On most frogs just hold it by the line tie, turn it upside down. Trim legs to be about even with the nose. Trim one side about a half inch shorter than other. Adjust as needed from there to get the action you want.

Have you tried Mann's Ghost ? They have them at Tackle Warehouse, It is a soft hollow body Zaraspook. I quit throwing frogs.
