I fished the backs of some creeks on lake Arlington last weekend. I caught a 5 pound bass in about 4ft deep of water slowly working a Texas rig craw & caught a drum and some dink bass as well. Fished the same creek 2 days later and my buddy caught two 3 pound bass, fishing within 30 yards of where i caught the 5 pounder 2 days prior. He caught those 2 working a jig slowly on the bottom, i didn't catch anything that second time back there with the same Texas rig craw. They are back there just not sure when to throw a jig instead of the Texas rig. Hope this helps.
