Friend got a new boat and we are going to eagle mountain lake. I have never been. Looking at maps, the point at pelican bay seems like a good place to start. Any advise would be appreciated.

The sandies have been running 24-28 ft, but they completely turned off last wk. We caught over 100 every time we went out for 6 wks, then Friday night we caught 20 with the help of my thumper. Haven’t back out since Sunday night, so not sure what they are doing this wk?

I was able to find them well north of the island the last couple of days. 12' - 15' of water but mostly small......only 20 keepers out of ~80 fish.
