Is the heaviest under bigger than the lightest over you know of?

Mainly thinking Fork.

What is the heaviest under 16โ€ in a tourney?

What is the lightest over 24โ€ in a tourney?

A lot of 3 lb unders. Bass champs used to claim a 3.5 lber as heaviest but that mightโ€™ve been beat. I saw a 5.48 over at fork during a media event and several high 5โ€™s and low low 6โ€™s. None of them got big bass.

I saw a 3.50 Under at a Skeeter Owners event on Fork about 20 yrs ago. A lady caught it.

A 5.48 Over may be a Record for the lightest.

If you want to see something really shocking go thru the years of SALs and look at how many were not 24"

I caught a 23-1/2โ€ โ€œoverโ€ on Athen two weeks ago that weighed 4.90. Haha. I had 4 unders (under 14โ€) that weighed 5.05.

You know. And oddly enough, that same fish was caught the next weekend in Legends for a boat. Think it weighed 3.48.

Whats the odds of that...............

Not in a tournament... 2 years ago I caught a 26.5 inch bass on Amistad that weighed 8.5lbs, had another the day before 25.5 inches long that weighed 7.8lbs. Course it was mid April and post spawn.

Had to estimate the 26.5 since it was longer then my 25" board.

since the Lake Fork Sportsman's Assoc. was doing a program at the time the 3.50 was caught where we gave them a free membership and a plaque no one else has claimed a bigger under. That fish was only 15 .5 inches long. More like 12 years ago.
