Hey guys, I'm new to the area, never fished Ray Roberts. Looking at a map, and reading everyone's posts, is it really that bad as far as trees and stumps are concerned?
Like I said, never been to the lake, looked at some pics, but just wanted to get your 2 cents on the structure/danger of the lake.
Stay safe out there!
Thanks

Main lake is wide open. If you see wooden pylons there's timber close by. Be very careful where you run north of wolf island.

As stated above, the main lake is wide open. If you go north you'll quickly get into trees with many submerged. For me, that's where I catch most of my fish. Go slow until you get to know the lake and you'll be ok. Good fishing and be safe!
