I'm narrowing down my search for a 6' ultralight rod, mainly fishing for crappie, bream, and small bass. I will primarily be fishing in small ponds and creeks. I know there is a wide range of prices in the rods listed below, but I want a rod that will perform well and last awhile. I don't think I have a strong opinion on 1 piece vs 2 piece, so it's not a major consideration at this time. I will likely pair it with some Pflueger/Shimano/Diawa but wanted to decide on a rod first. St.Croix Panfish St.Croix Avid Kuying Teton TFO Trout-Panfish Okuma Celilo BPS MicroLite ESP Ultra Lite All Star Dockshooter Comments and feedback welcome! Thank you!

Any other suggestions or comments out there?
Right now, I'm looking at the Panfish and Avid, but could be convinced otherwise.
Thanks!

I have two St. Croix MojoBass rods and they are great rods for the money. A little cheaper than the Avid. Even better if you can find them used.
My favorite road of all time was an Original Falcon, 6' medium power. I closed it in the rod locker on my boat and broke it right in half.

I get along just fine with a 5โ Ugly Stik and a small spinning reel with 6# mono. Caught a few bluegills this afternoon on a beetle spin and had a delightful battle. Then hung into a 1# bass and had even more fun.

I have a couple TFO rods paired with a Pflueger President 20 that I use for crappie. The throw ultralight jigs and are pretty sensitive for the price. Broke a tip on one (my fault) a few years ago and the warranty service was great to boot.

In my world, St.Croix Panfish is the best on your list. I have 6' one (paired with STRADIC CI4 1000) I could really cast small 1/32 on a 5 lb power pro distances 75feet ++. Not doable with any other rod on your list. My personal second choice is Shimano Clarus 7'6" UL. It is heavier but still can do 1/32. Al other rods are not made to cast 1/32 any distance! Either heavier jig OR simply trolling. Note IMO: TFOs are not even close to St. Croix: heavier and flimsier.
Light tackle carp fishing vet. PB carp: common 27lb - mirror 27.5lb - grassy 42lb - ghost 14lb

I have 2 St. Croix Premier UL in my fleet. Cheaper than the Avid and still a great rod made in the USA. The panfish series rods feel great in your hand, too, an an even better price. I dont think you will be disappointed with a St. Croix no matter which model You choose.

I recently picked up a Bass Pro Panfish Elite 6 foot UL rod. Very impressed with it. All Fuji, guides and reel seat. Very good blank. I have some high dollar Major Craft โJDMโ rods in my UL rod collection. For the money, this Bass Pro rod is outstanding. $80.

I just got a G Loomis IMX SR781-1 it seems stiff for an Ultralight but the less gyrations at the tip when casting the longer the cast. Lure weights 1/16 to 3/16 ounce. I've got multiple spools of 5# fluorocarbon and 6# braid. I still haven't tried it yet. But I'm confident I can catch dinks in the city park.

I caught 2 small bluegill and a 2 pound channel cat on a drop shot rig. It casts well with the Daiwa Samurai 1000i and 6# braid is a hassle but the sensitivity is stellar. Loved the G Loomis IMX spinning rod though for ultralight 1/8 oz. weight.

I like St. Croix, almost all my rods are St. Croix. I donโt think you will go wrong with either the panfish or the avid, but you might also consider the triumph and premier as well. Triumph is a little less expensive than the panfish series and about the same quality, but a different handle and guides. The premier is more than the panfish but cheaper than the avid and made in the USA. I have 2 premier UL and a Premier lite and a triumph lite, all are fantastic and highly sensitive.
