This morning there were still some schooling at the dam, it didn't last very long , however the few boats that showed up this morning caught fish , the dam ridge was loaded , #4 Mepps and chrome spoons seemed to work . Fish were were all along the ridge. Second stop, St Anne's West had several large schools , 23 -25 FOW, non stop. Most of these fish were caught vertical, lifting the rod up and letting the bait fall. Nothing at Pole Dance Point , next stop , Key Ranch Drop-Off, large schools, 24-25FOW , it's hard to tell how large these schools are until you get them fired up . Not sure how many sand bass I caught today, I did catch 2 legal hybrids, 4 cats, I was Done at 11:30am , Time to go to the house , Good Day ! Water mostly clear, 79 ,

Good report. I found the bite super tough on Saturday but Sunday and Monday have been great.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

This weekend I found schools but the bite was tough too. Found them at key Ranch and St. Annes in 20-24'. I found that the schools were smaller and moving quite a bit. I could not stay on top of them. I too, had a vertical presentation, and the hz presentation did not work.

Yes the schools did move for me , I would move 5 or 10 feet , to pick up another school , not sure if you are Thumping , but that did make a did difference.
