Went out yesterday around 9:30. Fished until 2:30. I have a 20' Champion bass boat and the wind was so high, waves were breaking over the bow and getting water inside the boat. I have a 45" Ulterra trolling motor and the prop was coming out of the water. I should have opted for the 60" shaft, my bad!
We brought home 43 Crappie and one catfish. Threw back about 10 that were to small to keep.
Standing timber in 25+ FOW with fish suspended around 12-18'
One other surprise: several of the crappie were full of eggs.
Fighting the wind was not fun but it was our best day so far this year. Fish were still biting when we came home, but I had stuff to do at home.

We had a very similar day. Fished the same timeframe. Went home with 46. Pattern was very different though. We fished timber in 10-15ftw. It was a fun day.
