At least seven people were shot, one critically, in Louisville, Ky., Thursday night during a protest over the fatal police shooting of a black woman in her home in March, the Louisville Metro Police confirmed.


Police said “some arrests” had been made after a shooting was reported around 11:30 p.m.

The protests continued for more than six hours, ending in the early hours of Friday as rain poured down.

Between 500 and 600 protesters took to the streets to seek justice for Breonna Taylor, an EMT who was shot by police after they entered her apartment with a “no knock” search warrant.

Having protest in Houston. HPD must be tired of the BS, they are arresting people now. HPD seems to be on every corner and stopping the problem people the ones that

Just had a conversation about this with 2 African American teenagers that work at the restaurant. They were shocked that I wouldn’t go take a tv or laptop from a store being looted. I asked what purpose did looting serve in regards to what happened? What does it solve other than making every person doing it into a criminal. There response was “man, fu** those stores. I’m not gunna say no to free sh**”. Tells me everything I need to know about what’s happening there. At no point did they make any mention of why people were rioting, just talking about how jealous they were they weren’t going to go get free stuff since they live here and not in Minneapolis.
