I have owned an Xpress since 2003 (X-19) and fished out of a Vexus that a friend owns. Unfortunately I only have a 150 and best speed I have seen is 64 but that was before banging up the hull in timber. The one complaint people have about the Xpress is the rod lockers don't stay dry. I just put Tupperware tubs in mine and leave the doors open after fishing in the rain. I think the Vexus has a better fit and finish than the Xpress but I haven't priced out them out and don't know if the price difference would be worth it. About the only complaint I had with the Vexus from what I have seen is the passenger rod storage beside the passenger seat doesn't have much room to put the butt of the rod to hold it securely. Will probably go with a glass boat someday as any tin boat is going to get you wet on a rough water day unless you can run straight downwind and upwind.

Vexus will be lucky to still be in business in the next 5 years.

PS::: Steez your full of it!! Im a Bass Cat Guy. There is no 80 mph Weld Xpress. Im 52 years of age and have had 13 high end boats; which includes a Allison 20 footr with a 300hp Modified Merc. SHO! Joke!!

BassCat guy here too. The guy in the video is Bobby Chiasson. If I'm not mistaken he has had that boat to 91-92 mph running a 29 pitch ProMax. He's running mid to upper 80s with a passenger, Tmotor, etc. Motor is a 200 SHO flashed to 300hp.

I have a 2019 Vexus 1980cc and I love it--it does have a little slap in chop but not like old typical tin rigs--lots of dry storage--good quality and thought put into this Vexus--smooth ride--great for this Old man fisherman---[Linked Image][Linked Image]

Why would you say that about Vexus?

Judging from the reactions I've seen, it doesn't appear the fiberglass line of boats have been well received. I personally think they're hideous. While the aluminum line appears to be a quality product, I fear the glass segment will drag them down. I hope I'm wrong.

Also judging from all of the comments about how ugly the boat is I would guess that the sales of the fiberglass ones aren't that good even though the guy in the video introducing the boat said that it just might be the best bass boat ever made. It truly is one of the ugliest bass boats made, that's for sure. Skeeter sales seem to be exploding lately.

I thought the same thing, till I saw an Xpress with a 250 SHO whoop a bass cat. Lol.

I bet the Xpress X19 with the 200 moves too!

They are not going anyplace. If I was a betting man, I would take your money.
