I certainly don't condone what the police officer did, and he should be arrested, charged and tried in a court of law for what he did. But I have never understood why it is necessary to destroy, burn, loot and steal when something like this happens. It only drags away the focus the news of the original event.

And I have REALLY never understood why, when protesting something a white cop did requires you to destroy your own neighborhood and ruin the lives and businesses of your own kind. For instance, in this mess going on in Minneapolis, there was a black man who had just invested his life savings into a new bar which had just opened. It was destroyed in the aftermath and the looters and thieves were so brazen that they were trying to take the safe from the business right in front of the news cameras.

Protesting and looting are very different things-

For health reasons or for non identification? Or maybe just fugliness....

no one said cop killing someone was right and you don't know if he was innocent. The thread, incase you missed it, was about the protesting and looting not whether the man was innocent or a cop killing

These are riots with intent to steal and destroy property. These are not protests or protesters.

So you've seen the autopsy, please detail the cause of death. Also, what is the basis of you saying the deceased is innocent?

I just saw a post on parler that George worked security at the same nightclub as the cop that killed him. No idea if its true, but there may be more to this story than we know.

I for sure dont agree what the cops did but you dont know if he was innocent or not but should not have been killed From What I see on tv, but looting and burning down cities doesnt make any more since either.

I don't think anyone is condoning the action of the officers,but what the looters are doing isn't about this, it's about more free stuff. This is not protesting this is anarchy, which I think most realize the left condones and seems to be encouraging by their inaction to stopping it. Just my opinion.
