Anyone fish the west side of Copano bay? Rented a house there for the weekend for the family. Has a pier that’s about 100yards long. Just wanted to hear how it is fishing along those piers. Thanks y’all!

if you're near where the Mission or Aransas rivers tie into the bay the fishing ought to be good. lights at night should really pay off.

We are off of FM1781. Kinda facing the main channel that goes under the bridge in to Aransas Bay. But we can make a little drive if needed.

Memorial Day weekend was a success. Caught a lot of 15” trout during the day before noon on popping cork 3foot leader and live shrimp on a 2/0 circle. Kids and wife had fun catching lots of little silver perch, lady fish, gaftops and baby reds under the lights!
