It started out calm, went to wind and rain, then back to calm, then back to wind from the other direction with more rain, then back to slight winds and then sun. Typical Texas Spring weather and the fish were biting. Drop shots, c-rigs, wacky rigs and shakey heads and cs-rigs won the day.

All fish 10" and up count as well as slot fish. Only their best 5 count.

Boaters

First Place went to Don Overstreet of Sulphur Springs with 11 bass for 14.57 LB. with a 4.49 LB lunker.
Second Place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 7 bass for 12.74 LB. with a 3.62 LB lunker.
Third Place went to Jack White of Farmers Branch with 6 bass for 11.14 LB with a 3.16 LB. linker
Fourth Place went to Curt Blount of Lake Fork with 5 bass for 10.84 LB. with a 3.31 LB. lunker
Fifth Place went to Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 6 bass for 10.28 LB and a 3.78 LB lunker.
Herb Powell of Lake Fork caught the boater lunker of 6.17 LB.

Co-Anglers

First Place went to Don Cox of Garland with 5 bass for 16.25 LB. with a 7.95 LB. lunker.
Second Place went to Rick Wright of Royce City with 6 bass for 15.66 LB.with the co-angler lunker of 9.12 LB.
Third Place went to Alf Tuggle of Cypress Springs with 8 bass for 14.82 LB. with a 4.87 lunker.
Fourth Place went to John Berech of Garland with 9 bass for 14.53 LB. with a 6.40 LB. lunker.
Fifth Place went to Ken Kielbas of Arlington with 3 bass for12.80 LB. with a 5.28 LB. lunker.

The amount of keepers is up again to 168 with 2 less anglers and only 2 skunks today. Anglers said that they didn't even count many of the 10 to 12" bass they caught were just thrown back uncounted.

The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 50+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues.
