They’re not cheap, and they’re not that common. They don’t even make anything smaller than a 3’ radius in any net as far as I am aware. That’s not very much surface area. You may check around to see if you can get one custom made, but I doubt you’re going to get any 3/16 mesh net for less than $80-90

Betts Super Pro #26...
Thing about it, your gonna have to pay for the lead to sink it fast enough to catch anything. I use a 1/4 myself.

Look up National Athletic Supply. They do in store and onlineorders. Super nice people. Prices are very good. They ship all over the US and probably have 75-100 cast nets in stock. Betts, Fitec and others. They are located in Belton Tx

+1 on National Athletic Supply in Belton! I just discovered that place 3 weeks ago and they have just about any size cast net you can think of. Super nice and knowledgeable people as well.

A net with tape will keep the net open to the bottom. The tape will also help correct an imperfect toss !

I have been using 4’ to catch those minnows for bait, I used to pay about 55-60, but the company I used to get it from is out of business, the model is Fitec SS1000, it comes in 3/16, Academy is selling for 72 as of now.
