I don’t think they ever recovered from the FICHT problems from 20 years ago. Growing up, we always had Evinrude or Johnson motors. Sad to see them go.

my pops has an old Evinrude from 72. Starts every time. Never had more than a change of plugs done to it.
Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

That is a sad deal.. I hope they keep building parts. It says they will.. but I hope they do! I’m still running a Evinrude and a Johnson.
