No need to spend that much. Get one of the ropes that clips to the two strap-down eyelets on your transom and then what ever tube you like. They can be had for less than $100

I used to pull skiers using a ski harness that snapped on the tie down eyes. Be sure it has a float to keep it out of the prop. Then a regular ski rope.

Wow yeah I wouldn't spend that. I'd get a Y bridal that hooks to both tie down eyes, a ski rope and a tube and have at it.

Tow my grandkids on the Y bridal all the time. No problems, just make sure it has the float to keep the rope out of the prop like someone said.

I have had one of these Ski Pilons for the past 4 years. You take out your back seat post and the pilon screws in. You mount 2 side brackets, (they stay on the boat), they are just 2 raised eyelets. The side poles all just snap to the main pole and the side brackets. It is very heavy metal. I have pulled water skiers, wake boards, tubes etc. With no issues. I have been pulled and I weigh 240 lbs So it is very sturdy. Unfortunately my back won't tolerate this anymore. If you get to Belton and want to remove it (the 2 side brackets) from my boat, I'll sell it for $100. It looks exactly like the one in the picture with a little bit of age on it. Never had any issues https://www.overtons.com/bass-boat-ski-pylon-313920.html

If you go with something like this, be sure and always use the 2 rear supports (side brackets) or it will bend the center post. My ex-wife and her brother didn't believe me and tried it.

My old Ranger 1992 361v with a Johnson Fastsrike 150 pulled my kids on tubes, knee boards and skis for many hours over many years. I had a ski pylon similar to this one on Gander Outdoors. Mine dropped right into the rear seat pedestal and you could reach through the bilge area to put a keeper pin into the pole. The only thing I had to drill into the boat was two very small stainless steel pins close to transom for mounting the two braces to. Everything was quick connect with pins and literally took one minute to install/remove. You can certainly pull a tube by simply tying a ski rope to your rear transom tie down rings but for skies, knee boards, wake boards.....the whole experience will be way better with a raised ski pylon. Search a little bit in Google and you will find the right one. https://www.ganderoutdoors.com/bass...ym0PJiWkV0aAv8NEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

This right here works great for me. Without the Booster Ball the tube submarines and the rope drags in the water and constantly sprays the kids in the face. The Booster Ball eliminated both issues.
