We had some dozer work done on our pond at the ranch around easter.... This weekend we finally got a good rain to fill 'er up. I was wonder if anyone can share some input on aquatic plants and if i can put some in now... or is it too late? I want to try and clear up some of the water and also provide some oxygen for fish we are going to stock. If anyone can share the type of plants and where to buy that would be great....

Contact the local Natural Resource Conservation Service office. They should provide you with local information.

In a couple of years you will have more unwanted plants in the pond it will be hard to fish. Be careful what you wish.

I'm not a fan of planting stuff. I just let sunshine and wind take care of O2 needs.
