I will take a large swivel, ty it on & use the prerigged, leadered 2/0 Aberdeen crappie hooks. Loop the leader thru the
swivel, bait with apiece of shelled shrimp, pitch it to the rocks & fish slowly back. Hooks bend out easy for hangups. Kinda like worm fishing for bass. Fun way to get a mess of channels.

I have stubbys, chicken breast, worms and Danny King bait. I have slip bombers and ready to go try the rocks after work. I am just going to try the rocks around and under the bridge at Joe Poole. I know it isn't known as a great catfish lake but is close . I may catch some eaters.
