Shingrix shot, Part deux today for the little woman and me. This is the latest anti-shingles vaccine. We got the first one in January. Your arm will tell you that it has had a shot. But not as bad as cholera and yellow fever, a reference point for you ex military types. CVS gives them if anyone is interested. Over 50 it is recommended. Have a few friends that have gotten the shingles and it is not something that anyone wants. That is all, carry on.

Did ours last fall and early this year. It made me feel exhausted the day after each shot. Slept for extended hours each time. I sure don't want shingles.

I had shingles last year on my head. it sucks, and can cause blindness if it goes into your eyes. It just came on out of the blue.

I have a friend that has shingles right now. she says is is terrible Neighbor has it. We took her to the hospital Sunday. It was bad. She is fighting through it at 75 years old. Feel so bad for her.

Well, hopefully this vaccine will help prevent or lessen the severity of the Shingles. Shingles are over $130 a square now for the 30 year GAFs.

Got my first Shingrix dose in Jan. 2019 and my second dose about this time last year. Bob is correct in that it definitely made my arm a lot more sore than any flu shot Ive had. Even so, it has to beat getting the shingles from everything I've heard.
