On the water just after daylight. Didn't really start fishing until about an hour later after I discovered a circuit breaker for the TM that I didn't know I had (new to me boat). The bite was a little slow but we found them suspended at about 10-15 feet in roughly 20 fow around the 36 bridge and some standing timber. Mostly small but ended up with 7 or 8 nice keepers for dinner. Black/chartreuse jigs seemed to work best. The wife was tipping hers with a minnow but it didn't seem to really make a difference. Water was 72-74 degrees.

Nice! I had a pretty good day last Friday there. Was playing with jugs early then found a new pile that was loaded. Pulled 20 fish and 12 keepers off it in an hour or so. All told I had 20 keepers in about 4 hours which is one of my better Belton days in a long time....all Jigs too which is also unusual for me there.
