Got my holiday hot dog at the gas station when I was filling up with gas. They even furnished the bun and mustard. Great price at $.89.

Doesn’t really make sense Kroger and Walmart now seem nearly fully stocked including hand sanitizer and a very full aisle of paper goods. The only thing I don’t see is Lysol spray and Clorox Wipes everything else pretty much past the hoarding silly season. Seems very weird for lines anywhere right now.

That’s the same experience with me and Tom Thumb is the same way

The stores are even back to running BOGO specials in the meat case

Our albertsons is full too.

Strange that it seems to be varying so much at retail on who can get what.

I'll share this with anybody out there who's interested, if you're having trouble finding meat there's a WinCo in Lewisville it's fully stocked, there are no limits on anything. They've got brisket, ribs, ground beef, steak, pork chops, chicken, basically whatever you would want.

They do not have mutton though. if you're looking for mutton there is a Pakistani grocery store on 3040 called "Paki Grocery", they actually have really nice mutton and goat. You wouldn't tell by looking at it from the outside but the store is actually extremely clean and very organized. The guy who runs it with his son is a super nice guy. Very good selection of hard to find spices as well... You know if you're into that sort of thing.

We had a free trial membership once. When it expired, they asked for money. I opted out.

Albertsons in Longview had very limited meat supplies and nothing really on sale this week. Meat market manager told me some delivery days the truck doesn't even stop at there store right now.

Last 2 weeks they had bone in ribeyes and boneless ribeyes and we really stocked up. But I would call ahead because I have gone there to pick up meat items on sale and they were out for days.

I wonder the same thing about paying a $100 a year for nothing, except free shipping that take two weeks.

We haven't had lines at our Sam's or Walmart's for 3 weeks or so now.

We buy most of our meat at the local meat market. grill

I give Costco credit for doing so. At the age of 75, I wear a mask out of respect for other guy as well as store employees in case I might have the virus. I have to ask why someone half my age can't return the favor.
