That is gents I have experience in the salt. As far as the vhf, I know I have one got to get thru the garage and upstairs , it will be behind a Christmas decoration box with my luck.
. Haven't fished Texas salt water.
Heck it's been a long long long time for the salt experience. Sure miss it
