Other than the product liquid rollers or one of the hard plastic boards that you put on your trailer but boards to make them slippery what other products could you put on there what about WD 40

do you have a regular bass boat?.....and why do you want slippery trailer bunks.....if you have a regular bass boat and trailer,keep in mind that bass boat trailers are designed as drive on trailers...not float on or crank on trailers...

Yes sir it’s a bass boat 19 foot but sometimes when the ramps just a little bit steep I have a hard time if I back down too far then the back in floats off the trailer if I don’t back in quite far enough my motor will not push that boat up to the roller so I was reading about some products to make your bunk boards more slippery

I installed a Drotto Boat Launch system and love it!

Especially by myself I can float off the trailer and then unlatch when I get on the boat so I'm never guessing if I back in far enough or not. It's super easy to load as well especially for those times when you back in too far and the boat slides off the roller before you can get off and strap it.

When I do happen to have a partner I can drive it up and it latches and me nor my partner have to get to the roller and strap.

Because of the Drotto I was thinking of installing some bunk slips to make it even more effortless when loading but I haven't found anything that I'm sure doesn't scratch my hull.

just a suggestion but next time back your trailer in far enough that middle bunks are barely submerged and that should be correct depth for you to load your boat whether the ramp is steep or not..if ramp is really steep you are probably going to have to winch your boat up the last couple of feet regardless......I would be very leery of putting anything on my trailer bunks to make them slick...it's just not necessary and downside is if you forget to hook your winch strap up,you can dump your boat on the launch ramp....

West Marine's "Deluxe Marine Bunk Carpet" is about as slick as anything you would want. That stuff is like night and day compared to what came on my trailer and made all the difference in launching and loading for me.

I cut some gutter down spout in half. Same delrin or plastic material they well tj add to bunks. $20 total investment.

Your old carpet probably has sand and dirt in it making them abrasive, just go with treated wood and new carpet with stainless staples, it will last 10 years + if you use good materials.

the down spot trick sounds good i really doubt it is made out of delrin which is technically acetal a very expensive palstic uhmw is alot less expensive
but then it really does not matter what it is made out of I do wonder how long it will last but if it will last at least 3 years that might not be a bad way to go

Easily last years and years. I have had them on almost 3 years and when I am in Texas I fish almost every day so over 100 days so far this year alone.

Try backing the trailer down deep to get all the carpet wet then pull back up and stop it to the correct location on your trailer for loading the boat. It slides easier on wet carpet.
