Has anyone brought a used boat from BPS that wasn’t a tracker/nitro? How was the process? Did you use their financing if that was an option. Any thoughts will be appreciated, good bad or indifferent. Would you do it again?. Thanks y’all.

If it’s a fairly new boat, it’s probably the best boat on the lot! Just kidding Nitro fans.

If you buy a boat from Bass Pro. Take your down payment and buy bass pro gift cards to get the loyalty points then use the gift cards for the down payments.
I’ve done it and ended up with about $500 free to spend. The boat buying process was simple and they financed me through US Bank. I haven’t had any issue with them.

I’ll have to read up on the gift card thing. Not sure how loyalty points work out with gift cards. In fact, the whole gift card thing sounds funny. I can just imagine rolling up there with $3K in gift cards and throwing them on their desk, lol. Thanks for the reply. I will keep this in mind.

Guessing you never use your credit card to charge stuff you are paying cash for simply to save up more rewards on your credit card and than simply pay off the card before it becomes due? I use a credit card for EVERYTHING(or at least everything that merchants will allow) and never pay a dime in interest because we pay it off early every month. The gift card “thing” is actually wise not “funny”. EVERYTHING! Utilities, insurance premiums......Even on bigger ticket items like vehicles or like a few months ago we purchased our new RV. I am charging the maximum amount they will allow me pay with a credit card to on my REWARDS credit card and then writing a check for the balance. Same theory. Not “funny”. Actually should be a “da” moment!

I do the same thing as 361. It's great going to B PS and buying stuff that my points pay for.

On "big ticket items", some merchants will give 1%-3% discount for cash/check versus credit card. If not, I put on credit card (for "points") and pay off EVERY month so no fees or finance charge.

Nobody said anything about points or gift cards etc.
Thanks, Billy

Friend of mine bought a boat from bps they gave him 500 to spend in a gift card... Ive bought two boats from Cabelas. I got their Visa Black Card and purchased the boat. Got about 1000 in club points, with that I had them put in 1200 worth of graphs, got a free Ranger cover, security chain, and no labor charges...
