Morning Folks!!

I have gotten proficient and finding and catching sandbass out on grapevine. Supported my fellow fisherman on tff by buying the thumper, RSR lures and the detail mapping. Hoping for some help now on spots to catch hybrids in Lewisville this time of year. If you’ve been on grapevine you’ve probably seen us...Camo 20’ boat and I always have my son with me and I wear a white cowboy hat.

My son, 5 yrs old, and I just started fishing Lewisville because he wants to catch a hybrid. I’m willing to trade some of my knowledge on sandbass spots on GV or LV for a few good go-to spots for hybrids we can try. PM me if you are willing to share/exchange. I’m willing to put in the work to find them but really not sure where to start.

Hope all are well.

Tight lines! sb

Im.in the same boat you are in. Wanting desperately to catch hybrids on Lake waco. I have become very proficient in finding and catching white bass but the hybrids have still eluded me until here recently. I set my.mind on figuring it out. I built a thumper and scoured YouTube for videos and found one. I studied the shore.line and then referenced navionics and implemented it in the lake. Bam. I feel.like I have a handle on them.at the moment. Waco has limited structure so keying in on a few places and hammering them.with different baits I feep.confident in going out and catching fish every trip. Now if I can hone in on catching shad on Whitney ill be the boss.

Would you mind sharing the link to the video? I am trying to key in on hybrids specifically now vs just trying to catch them when they are hanging out with the white bass.
