Fork. Again.

I have fished every day this week. Here are the reviews of the lakes I hit.

Monday-Tawakoni.....took a friend out and we had a really good day on numbers. Got bit all day. Lots of solid keepers with a couple of good ones thrown in.

Tuesday- Winnsboro....fished solo....was pretty slow but caught enough to make it worth it. Nothing over 3lbs.

Wednesday- Holbrook- fished solo....really good day on numbers. Caught fish all day. Biggest was 3lbs or so.

Thursday- Tawakoni/Fork....took a friend and it was pretty slow. We caught a few then moved to Fork around noon. Figured out a little something pretty quick and my buddy had 10-12 fish in about 4 hours and I had 5 bites but lost them all. Could not land a fish after hooking it. Weird day for me. Couldn't get out of my own way. Still a good time.

Today- Holbrook/Fork...fished solo, started on Holbrook...was slow at first then the bite really picked up. Good numbers and the usual out there with fish up to 3lbs. Fished till 11:00 or so then headed to Fork. As soon as I launched I went back to the little pattern we figured out the day before and I started catching them. Really fun afternoon. Left them biting. Good numbers, solid unders, solid slots with the biggest probably pushing 7lbs or so.

I don’t go out on amateur weekends unless it’s just to the boat ramp to watch the crazies.

I fished Naconiche yesterday. Tough day for me. That lake usually kicks my but, but occasionally rewards me with a bigg'n. I'm sticking to ponds for the rest of the weekend. It's going to be wild out there.

Fork had a few extra boats on it today and the bite was a little slower but they still bit. Was not bad at all for a Saturday on Memorial Day weekend.

AWESOME Mark! Thanks for the report. I need to get out of the neighborhood and go hit Tawakoni.

I love me some Tawakoni. Usually catch plenty out there. Every once in a while its a tough day but more often than not it produces.

Well it won’t be Bridgeport today (Sunday) Wise county park ramps closed no entry to lake high water. That was a wasted trip. Oh well at least had breakfast.

I fish Raybob on the Reg and just FYI. The boat ramps are filling up fast and no parking at some locations. Yesterday was crazy and the idiots were out. LOL

This^^^^

Even last week, I had to yell at some drunk idiot on a jet ski in Jordan, to stop zig zaging between boats at the ramp. Its getting worse...I love Jordan but maybe Buck Creek is the answer...its usually just us fishing guys...

I normally put in at Pond but had to go to Buck. It was full and yes it was just us fishing guys. No issues there.

I mean that in a good way...fishermen look out for other fishermen...and are usually cordial and efficient at the ramp...hopefully that makes sense.
