What hook do you use on Alabama Rig for lightweight A Rig set up? I'm going to play around with hooks instead of jig heads.

You looking for a lightly weighted belly weighted hook? For a weedless presentation?

This is what I use for my standard set up (From Gambler Lures) Will get back to you on the belly weighted hook if that is what you are looking for.

I have rigged them weedless like a texas rig. Come through cover but you miss some bites.

I'd like to put a 4" swimsuit on 4/0 , looking for what may work best to keep the weight down, a screw lock or maybe light belly weight. Have you done that?

Did you use a straight shank round bend ?

A quantity of five four inch swimbaits on an Arig will have plenty of weight.

If you aren't using jig heads, I'd use a belly weighted screw lock hook to keep them running true (keep them from spinning).

Yes, plenty of weight, too much using jig heads for what I'm trying to achieve. I was wondering just that, if screw locks would help keep from spinning.

thanks for the help
