I have a 150 SHO with a stock prop, I can get 60 with and myself. Is it worth spending the money to get a different prop, will it get me more speed? Thanks

Well, Mo, that depends on whether that 150 is on a deep V party boat or an 18 foot bass boat with a light load. You need to provide hull info (year/make/model), jackplate or not and setback, shallow water anchors or not, boat loading info, your weight, partner weight, etc, and someone might respond. Another very special data point is RPM. What is the max for your motor (something any operator should know), and what are you getting?

I agree with Flippin-out. Hull, jackplate, motor height, and especially WOT RPMs are critical info. I assume with a 150 and 60 MPH that you are running a bass boat. Best advice is to call Josh at Steve's Custom props on Quitman. Chasing a couple of MPH with props can get expensive if you don't know what you are doing and maybe even if you do.
