Today started off very windy out of the south east. Which really screwed up where I had a great day pre-fishing yesterday. The weather was warm and the fish were biting. Once again drop shots, c-rigs and cs-rigs won the day.

All fish 10" and up count as well as slot fish. Only their best 5 count.


First Place went to Bob Roberts of Longview with 7 bass for 21.99 LB. with the boaters lunker of 9.59 LB.
Second Place went to Curt Blount of Lake Fork with 9 bass for 16.28 LB. with a 3.95 LB lunker.
Third Place went to Jack White of Farmers Branch with 11 bass for 15.09 LB with a 4.09 LB. linker
Fourth Place went to Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 11 bass for 15.00 LB. with a 3.95 LB. lunker
Fifth Place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins with 3 bass for 14.54 LB. with a 7.15 LB. lunker.


First Place went to new member Jimmy Bright of ?? with 7 bass for 16.12 LB. with the co-angler lunker of 6.89 LB.
Second Place went to John Berech of Garland with 8 bass for 10.92 LB. with a 2.88 LB. lunker.
Third Place went to Greg Geisler of Lake Fork with 4 bass for 9.94 LB. with a 5.39 lunker.
Fourth Place went to Butch Grove of Sulphur Springs with 4 bass for 9.65 LB. with a 3.62 LB. lunker.
Fifth Place went to Dave Garner of Royce City with 3 bass for 8.75 LB. with a 3.62 LB. lunker.

"Tough fishing" has gone by the wayside as the guys managed to catch 158 keepers. There were three skunks, all co-anglers.

The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 50+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues.
