Well after all the rain I had a trip planned on Ray Roberts, but I couldn't get my boat out of my shop out back cause It's in the back pasture and was too muddy. So a buddy of mine took me instead to PK to Bass Fish. Well we pulled the jigs out and hit a dock loaded with brush in 4' to 8' of water and it was on. Ended up with 32 keepers, with a few hubcap sized fish. They still had eggs in them, I was kind of shocked. Purple jigs produced the best till we ran out of those, then switched to white chartreuse.[Linked Image]

Wow! That is impressive. PK in my opinion is the most difficult place to fish for Crappie. The clear water and general lack of crappie numbers makes it tough.

Nice fish. I grew up fishing there and went back last year, 38 years later and could not catch a crappie for the life of me. Glad to know they are there. Hope to head back there again this year to give it another try!

I fished PK yesterday. One crappie, Five Huge LM Bass, a Channel cat and a sandie. Typical for me.
