Just installed my new Garmin LiveScope Perspective Mode, grabbed some video while I experimented with it. Running it on a 10" Garmin EchoMap Ultra 106SV with the version 2.41 LiveScope software.

Was sunny and windy, sorry for the glare and shaky camera.

Correct, it only shows the fish, the sonar doesn't have audio of the fish talking...yet! Lol, an abrupt cut off of my intro, but there isn't supposed to be any more audio than that.

My mount for perspective mode is supposed to be delivered today.
How shallow do you have to be for perspective view to be effective?
Most of my fishing this time of year is at 8-15 feet. The lake I bass fish the most has hydrilla pretty much anywhere under 6-7 feet. Will perspective mode be useful as a search tool at those depths?

Nice footage Tom. How much angle adjustments did you have to do to get the proper view?
Tim

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

The shallower and closer the range, more you can see fish shapes big and obvious and swimming around. 10' and shallower, you can really see fish big and clearly.

I don't make any angle adjustments to the transducer other than just snap it into the perspective mode position if that's what you're asking.

Thanks. I put the mount on during my lunch break. I still have to install the software update. Iā€™m looking forward to trying it out.
The regular Livescope has really changed how I fish.

I talked to Garmin and asked if the 50 feet depth was ok to run the perspective mode as the installation manual says is what they consider shallow water. The Garmin tech said that was for ideal water quality conditions. Most lakes I fish are not clear water lakes. The tech said 30 feet deep or less works the best for most lake conditions that are not clear water.
