Well folks, I’m the newest displaced pilot on the street. My corporate flying job of 8 years just let me go due to COVID and oil prices. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, it’s well known that the aviation industry has taken a beating over the last 2 months. So, as I wait for the aviation industry to come back to life, I will pour everything I have into my “other” career. Fortunately, almost 2 years ago I got my real estate license as “plan B”. Now, plan B is plan A!!
If you or someone you know is thinking about buying/selling real estate, I would love the opportunity to earn your business. I will help anyone in the entire DFW area.
Thanks,
Weston McElroy

You could become a crop duster, good luck

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

Good for you to have a back up plan. Ironically, I am considering getting a real estate license for the same reason.

Too bad. The aviation industry is taking it hard right now. I heard Delta is retiring all of it's 777s and Rolls Royce is laying off 10,000 people.

Thanks guys. No doubt it’s super disappointing but timing couldn’t be better. The last two months have been crazy good in real estate. I’ve been busier the last 2 months than I’ve been in 2 years. Just trying to advertise more to keep the pipeline full over the next several months to pay the bills.
It’s been my experience over the last 2 months that house under $300K are still moving REALLY fast (in most areas). However, financing is getting a little tougher overall but interest rates are still good. PM/text/call me if you have any questions about the market or would like a CMA on your home.

Thanks,
Weston McElroy

That sucks. You sound like a very smart man though. You planned ahead and I hope it works out for you.

I’m currently on week 1 of a total of 3 furlough weeks, 1 each of the next two months to go. I’m not where I need to find alternatives yet, but rumors are it may continue into the fall. Hell I may just retire, who knows, it sucks
