You find a main lake point pattern that works. 8-12 FOW. Rains come over a few days then it’s tourney day and your water that was once stained yet stable is now yoo-hoo. Are you turning the boat around ASAP, are you adjusting but staying in the area or are you just sticking with the game plan (to start)?

Probably what tiltman said. Depends on if I drove a long way to get there and my back-up plan. I still would make a few casts before moving. Depends on if I knew beforehand if it was blew out or not. If I am surprised it is dirty I will hit it(already there why not) But will abandon if no action quick.

That deep I am going to at least make a few casts and see if they are there. Maybe sidescan it really quick to check on if they suspended or not. I personally don't know how "deep" the dirty water penetrates so maybe once you are 4-5' down it clears up?
