I am new here to Texas. Living in Tomball in search of places to bank fish . I have had pretty good luck at Burroughs Park during the past 6 months catching bass and a few small cats but I would love to find some other locations to fish for carp and cats that are in my area or near by areas. I am a Nurse at Memorial Hermann in the woodlands and would like to know of any fishing areas in the woodlands area as well? Thank you in advance for any info on lakes in the area.

Look up parks on Lake Conroe. There are some nice public access points that offer decent bank fishing, particularly for catfish, a strong-point for the lake. Lake Conroe isn't very far from the Woodlands/Tomball.
