SOUTHEAST TEXAS — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin a phased reopening of campgrounds across Texas. In Southeast Texas, the Corp of Engineers oversees campgrounds at Lake Sam Rayburn and Dam B/Town Bluff.

Customers will be able to make reservations beginning at noon on May 8 for May 20 and beyond campground occupancy. Campground reservations and payments must be made in advance at http://www.recreation.gov. To protect the staff and visitors, all transactions must be made online.

I'm starting to hear of tournaments being granted their permits. We got our permit for our May 30th event a couple of weeks ago. We are slowly getting back to semi-normal. As of now, all tournament weigh ins have to be drive thru format. No gatherings are allowed. Hopefully we will be full back to full blown weigh ins here in a couple of months.
