I have a 2019 Mercury V8 4 stroke. Got a recall notice regarding the oil ports. Anybody have any information on how serious this is? I live quite a distance from a shop, don't run my motor very hard.

IMO.. I don't have that motor but if I did and had that much invested ..I would take it in to have it checked..oil related sounds rather significant to me

Just throw that notice in the trash it's probably not that important.
TAKE A PHOTO HOME NOT THE FISH. CATCH AND RELEASE
Set the hook first and ask questions later.
