Hello. I would like to try some different water and was thinking about hitting Lake Athens. I know nothing about this lake other than what I can read on the interweb. Looking for some timber or general areas that might hold some crappie. Any places that may have some hazards for boating? Anyone here willing to throw an old dog a bone and point me in the right direction. Dont want any specific spots of course. Unless you are feeling generous. Seriously, thanks for any information.

I would love to have the same information. This is a lake that I have wanted to go to for a long time, but do not know anyone that fishes it. Any help is appreciated.
